RELATIONSHIPS ARE THE KEY!

We want our clients to receive the most effective and appropriate services they need.  Since each of our clients is unique, no one solution is right for everyone.  At times, clients have several contributing factors that are affecting them.  We understand that sometimes our services are just one piece of the answer.  Therefore, we often realize that taking a team approach is helpful in best serving our clients.   In order to fulfill that need, Mind Quest has joined forces with a group of professionals who are experts in their respective fields of Auditory Processing, Visual Processing, and Cognitive Therapy.  Here is a brief introduction of my colleagues and links to their businesses:
ELISE NORTH UHRING, AuD

What often looks like ADHD may be a treatable Auditory Processing Disorder (APD). An APD prevents the student from learning efficiently and may negatively impact reading. Diagnosing and treating auditory processing disorders is one of Dr. Uhring's specialties. State-of-the-art treatments may involve cognitive training, but not medications. Patients can expect to enjoy enhanced academic success and heightened communiation skills.  Dr. Uhring has presented at hearing health conferences and has been published in audiology journals in the area of Auditory Processing Disorders. Dr Uhring sees patients at her offices in State College.
